The Plymouth Airshow is proud to officially announce some of its performers for 2016:
Goulian is one of the few professional civilian aerobatic performers that has made a career in the airshow industry. He just happens to be a Plymouth resident and started his landmark career at his family’s flight school in Bedford, MA. He’s performed for North American airshow fans from coast to coast for the past 20 years and raced world-wide in the Red Bull Air Race World Championship series since 2006 (you can watch past races on Red Bull TV or the 2016 series on Fox Sports). In the past you may have seen perform him locally at the historic Hanscom AFB (Bedford, MA) or Weymouth NAS air shows or more recently at the RI Airshow at Quonset Point in Rhode Island (he’ll be performing at the RI Airshow this June). For more information on Mike Goulian, check out mikegoulian.com or read more at plymouthairshow.com.
Wingbusters RC Club
Also coming back this year are the model aircraft pilots from Wingbusters RC Club. We are proud to have Mitch Buckley, John Buckley, and other elite members of the club demonstrate for us the wonderful world of model aircraft. Mitch and his father have been flying and competing nationally for the past few decades. At the show you’ll see a variety of RCs, including a Jet and Aerobatic Aircraft. For more information about Mitch and the club, visit the Wingbusters website or read more here.
National Anthem Performer: Alan St. Louis
Our national anthem will be sung by longtime Nashua, NH resident, Alan St. Louis – who holds 4 world records for singing the “Most National Anthems” in one year with a whopping 217 performances. This year he’s working on his 6th world record. He’s performed all over New England, including at Boston Red Sox games and other major colleges and universities. He’s been singing for 35 years in choruses and competition nationwide. Visit plymouthairshow.com for complete details.
Keep your eye out for additional performers and activities at plymouthairshow.com. Look forward to seeing you August 20th (rain date: August 21st) at the Plymouth Airport.
