The Plymouth Aero Club is already planning the air show for 2020! In addition to welcoming our community to our fabulous airport, we will be celebrating the 400th anniversary of Plymouth and enjoying the new administration building and recreational area at the main entrance and ramp area.

Save the date: Saturday, August 8th, 2020
Ticket pricing TBD.
Website: plymouthairshow.com

With the help of many of our airport friends and businesses we will be able to offer airplane rides, airplanes to look at and climb in, a yummy choice of food from local food trucks and restaurants and airshow entertainment. The airshow performers will be announced at a later date, but we have already confirmed Mike Goulian, our resident aerobatic performer and former Red Bull Air Race competitor.

If you came out to our event in 2018 – when you come in 2020 you will notice that it looks quite a bit different! Over the past year, the airport has had a complete transformation underway. A brand new administration building is open at the main entranceway to the airport (Gate 2 off of S Meadow Road). The building is open every day to the public with the restaurant, Plane Janes, as one of it’s attraction.

For 2020 we are looking for help to make the event great:

Volunteer: This is your chance to spend time with our wonderful Plymouth Airport community. If you’d like to help during or before the event, we’ll need help with a variety of things: ticketing, kids area, set up, clean up, signage, security and more. If you are interested in helping please connect with Dennis Smith [email protected] or email Karin Goulian (airshow directly) at [email protected].

Support: The air show is looking for support in many ways. If you can help in any way with a cash donation or a donation in kind, please let us know! Last year we had a variety of donations from cash to a bouncy house, volunteer t-shirts, signage, and much more.

Exhibits / Food Vendors: We are already taking sign ups for vendors. To exhibit at the event, please contact Mark Hanson at [email protected]. Food vendors, please email [email protected]m and your request will be forwarded to the food team (Kris Delano and Linda Hurley).

Statics: An airshow isn’t complete without a wonderful display of aircraft on the ground. If you have an airplane that you’d like to have on display, please connect with our director of statics: Pete Conner: [email protected].

As in the past, the proceeds of this event will help pay for our annual scholarship program that helps our future aviation leaders pay for their education. Ticket prices will be announced in 2020.

We look forward to seeing you next August!
